Taylor Swift Pranks Keith Urban - Video

I know this is a little late, but Taylor seems to be quite the prankster on her tours. After her highly popular prank on Brad Paisley on her last tour, she took aim at Keith Urban in Kansas City recently.

As Keith and his band began playing "Kiss a Girl", Taylor and members of her band came on stage dressed in full Kiss costumes and joined in on the song. Check out the video. Like all of you I'm sure, I would have LOVED to have been at this concert!!!

Taylor Show in Joliet, Illinois

I was just reading a piece in the Chicago Tribune about Taylor Swift, and was it ever eye opening. A lot of people wonder what Taylor's like in person, and I've even read numerous posts online about she might be less than nice with her fan base. But after reading this article, it's hard to believe she's anything but nice.

The part of the article that made my jaw drop was:

The last song of the night was the clean-but-still-rowdy version of Swift's newest single, 'Picture To Burn.' After which she promised to 'sign every single autograph for everyone in here. And she did, staying in the lobby from 9:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. to do so.

How many other Grammy nominated artists would you think would stick around for 3.5 hours after their show to sign autographs for their fans. Taylor truly is one of a kind.

And for those of you wondering, it seems like Taylor is including an acoustic version of Rihanna's hit "Umbrella" in all her live concerts.

TBO.com Reviews Taylor's Tampa Show

In case any of you wondering what to expect from seeing Taylor in person, TBO.com had someone review her performance Saturday night in Tampa, and by their account she's fantastic live. Or to quote them "Is she for real? The Swift answer is yes!"

The Tampa show at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center's Morsani Hall, was jammed to the center's 2,582 capacity to see Taylor perform songs off her debut album as well as some surprises, such as her mid-set rendition of Rhianna's mega-hit "Umbrella." I'm still looking for a YouTube video of this performance, so if you have it, please let me know where I can find it.

In the meantime, what's been your reaction to seeing her live? Leave feedback in the comments!

Bonfires and Amplifiers for the Troops

Taking a break from their normal constant stadium schedule, the Bonfires and Amplifiers tour played a different type of venue this past Monday night. Taylor and Kellie Pickler opened a show in Fort Campbell, Kentucky in front of a crowd of 35,000 soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Brad Paisley as always was the main act and in his words, they wanted to "bring a little party to you before your next deployment".

Most of the soldiers at For Campbell will likely be deployed to Iraq within the next few months.

Paisley Picks on Pickler

*** THE VIDEO IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST ***

Well, if you play with fire, you're eventually going to get burned. A little while back Kellie Pickler, Taylor, and Jack Ingram played a little prank on the king of pranks himself Brad Paisley while touring on the Bonfires and Amplifiers tour.

Well, it looks like Paisley's got his revenge, taking a shot at a much discussed issue in the world of Pickler. Just before Pickler was to go on stage to open the show, Paisley had a different video swapped in on the big screen backing the stage and it was interesting to say the least.

The video was entitled "You be the Judge!". The footage was of Pickler during her American Idol days mixed with more recent footage that put an emphasis on some possible cosmetic surgery she may have had. And to make a long story short, Paisley made it quite obvious that Pickler's boobs have, um, grown...lol.

Pickler did get some revenge later in Paisley act during an accoustic number when she came on stage dressed only in a trench coat, stood back to the crowd and infront of Paisley and flashed Brad and said "You be the Judge."

No word yet on retaliation on Taylor.

The You Tube video of "You be the Judge" is below:

Taylor Pranks Paisley!

Continuing the tradition of pranks on the Brad Paisley tour, Taylor decided to have a bit over the weekend on their stop in Taylor's old hometown of Hershey, PA. Taylor's prank comes on the heels of American Idol alum, Kelly Pickler and Paisley's tourmate, Jack Ingram pranking Paisley, the ultimate prankster, by coming on stage dressed as ticks back in June. This is how it all went down according to the Dial-Globe:

Brad was midway through his encore, singing his fishing anthem, "I'm Gonna Miss Her," when to the delight of her hometown crowd, Taylor strolled onstage dressed in waders, a fishing hat adorned with lures, and carrying a fishing pole and a net full of stuffed animal trout. She also had a bait box full of rubber worms that she used to tease Brad before tossing them into the screaming crowd. She then picked up her fishing pole and proceeded to reel in what appeared to be at least a 40-pounder (of the stuffed variety).

I love reading about Taylor's funny side. It's good to know that even with her meteoric rise to fame that she's still down to earth.

Faith and Tim Surprise Taylor

According to Great American Country, at the end of the Soul2Soul tour that Taylor was on with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, a nice surprise was left in Taylor's dressing room. One box was filled with "unbelieveable" scented candles and the other contained a charm bracelet from Juicy Couture.

Faith and Time seem like genuinely great people!

Anyways, Taylor was overwhelmed at the gesture and said of the bracelet that she's "never taking it off for the rest of her life."
